We are reminded that simplicistic living strengthens our connection to the Earth and all of natures elements. The ritual of gathering wood to light a fire, or filling an earthware jug with water from our mountain well, breathing the ionic mountain air, or eating the herbs and mountain medicine plants that heal us.

We are blessed with the gifts of nature and so we strive to live in a way that honours and gives back to the land that sustains us. Welcome you to the RisingSoul Accommodation, your sanctuary for a soulful rustic, escape. A perfect place to “Connect Earth & Spirit In Nature” through the practices of yoga and meditation allowing our amazing guests to find their own mind, body, and spiritual connection.

Our Venue

Is built from earthy organic materials and brings our guests a fusion of rustic practice spaces, mountain valleys, and ancient church views. Risingsoul accommodation is provided in our homely historic Bulgarian village villa and our magical forest and waterfall glamping site. Guests love the huge stone courtyard with an open-fronted chill-out area, summer kitchen, and Yoga Barn, all with the stunning church and sunrise views.

What Are We About?

We are passionate about developing a diverse, holistic, and welcoming Yoga Retreat which is the hub for social connection. Around this hub, we aim to rejuvenate abandoned village properties to develop an Eco-Community of Nomads who choose to live in nature but enjoy the social connections.

The RisingSoul is developing as a community that values equality, sustainability, freedom of expression, and mind-body and spiritual awareness. We welcome all travellers and are especially conscious of providing a safe space where solo travellers can feel at home, safe, respected, and comfortable.

GuestSpace Bedrooms

Relax in one of the lodge bedrooms, where comfort meets nature’s embrace. Experience the perfect blend of modern amenities and rustic charm as you retire to your personal haven within the heart of RisingSoul. Our thoughtfully designed space invites you to unwind and recharge in a tranquil setting.

Kingfisher Ensuite

Our ensuite king size bedroom overlooks the mountains and church. Enjoy the sunrise views fom the comfort of your bed. The room has storage for two people and a small wet room with shower, sink and WC. The post-box red antique Pechka wood burner is a rare model and sets this room off with its fabulous oak floor.

FireFly Twin

Our twin room room is furnished with a double wardrobe and side draws with ample underbed suitcase storage. The room has its original wooden floor and a bespoke antique Bulgarian Pechka wood burner to keep it cosy. This room has a double aspect with views over the courtyard and yoga barn and the mountain and village in the other direction.

Grasshopper Dorm

Our four bed dorm with mountain village and Church views, each bed has its own independent charging point, light, shelves and curtain with a large storage space under the bed, hanging hooks and storage boxes. The room has its very own antique Bulgarian Pechka wood burner, original wooden floor and a shared clothes rail.

RisingSoul Accommodation: Grasshopper Dorm Bed

OldStable SuperKing & Eco Bathroom

This authentic courtyard room has a Super King Size bed and just next door there is an eco bathroom. The room was originally a stable and benefits from thick stone walls that have been restored. The room is refreshingly cool in the summers. The outside eco bathroom has a stone floor, dry compost toilet, solar heated shower and crafty glass bottles window.

The ChurchView Yurt Tent, is a spacious canvas tent situated on a wooden platform with the forest behind and a view across to the historic village church. The tent is set up with two mattresses and solar powered lighting.

Waterfall Yurt Tent is our single-occupancy glamping option. Situated on a wooden platform, on the edge of the forest with a short walk to the properties’ small waterfall. The tent is set up with one queen-sized mattress and solar powered lighting.

Please be aware that there are no charging points in the tents and only in the retreat courtyard. This is a great off-grid option for those who appreciate immersing in nature.

Retreat Guests

Guest Space

As a guest of the retreat you will become part of the community; eating together, socialising and sharing practices. Guests have access to the communal areas; courtyard with comfy outdoor furniture, open kitchen and dining area, social room the Yoga Barn, Meditation room and the gardens surrounding the retreat.

The communal area is perfect for relaxing, socializing, eating, working. During the spring to autumn seasons you can watch the stunning sunrise. We often spend our time here or on the yoga barn veranda in the summer. There are several quiet outdoor spaces, perfect for reading or meditating.

Whats Included?

Our retreats include two plant based meals a day brunch and dinner, the Chai House is open from 12.00 to 15.30 for those who wish to eat a third meal. All practices on the Earth & Spirit schedule are included. E&S guests can upgrade to the WildForest Awakening Retreat for an extra €60 a day please see the Retreat Schedule
