Alexander is a yoga instructor, architect and photographer and he first came in touch with the yoga asana practice in 2012. He started practicing regularly from 2017, when he became acquainted with the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga method by his first teacher Taruna Krishna Das (Todor Todorov), and it became an integral part of his daily routine.
In early 2020, after several trips to Africa and Asia, Alexander completed a one-month yoga teacher training in Mysore, India, with Dr. Balasundara Srinata, who is a direct student of B.K.S Iyengar, and a two-week pranayama course at B.N.S. Iyengar.
Adherence to traditional yoga practice further inspires and intensifies his interest in yoga, as well as his desire to share his love of practice with other people. In his classes, which are based on classical hatha yoga, Iyengar and Ashtanga Vinyasa and contemporary styles such as Vinyasa flow. Alexander emphasizes on the careful and gentle performances of asanas for beginners while still managing to challenge the physically capable advanced practitioners.
In addition to physical yoga practice, Alexander also conducts pranayama classes and music meditations – Kirtan, where visitors have the opportunity to experience the effect of chanting mantras under musical accompaniment.
